It's rather silly to call "Ecosystem" a trilogy.

That said, Ecosystem version C is indeed the third and final version of "Ecosystem," the album that was originally released in 2019, and then "again" in 2020, with different drums, vocals, lyrics, and bass.

Or is it the final version?

"Version C" is entirely for you, the fans. It's for you to make "Ecosystem" the way you want, with all the stems from the record. All the vocals, drums, dulcimers, bass, and not-bass bass... everything. You will be paying (or getting for free on Dec 25, 2022) for 36 nigh-600mb tracks from the raw recording sessions of both albums. All is in its original tracked state. No reamps, no edits, no effects, no EQ or compression, no mixing. Nothing. You have to/get to decide what happens in your Digital Audio Workstation. You drop each file in your DAW at "zero" and all the audio will line up for the entire album(s).

You're going to need a DAW. Again, this isn't an album, but all the tracks, and listening to those tracks just for fun may not be so fun. Also, the total download is like 16GB, so...

- Think you can do a way better mix? Now you can.
- Think you can play way better drums, or sing way better vocals, or write way better lyrics? Want to ditch the dulcimer and play guitar? You're welcome to.
- Want to sample some or lots of the record into something totally different? Go for it.

You pay for it, you get to use the files. We just ask that if you make a pile of money, don't forget us on your way to the top.

This is Botanist's gift back to you (and will be free on Christmas Day, 2022). We can't wait to see what people do with this, and please share! You'll be giving a gift back to us. "Ecosystem" is a special album because of its "versions." Now the next version is up to you!
